How Does It work?
1) Simply select the options you want e.g. number of people/pet to draw, print size, background colour (if relevant). Add to cart and check out.
2) Email the reference photo (s), and any information you wish to include to info@whiteovalstudio.com quoting your order number.
For Story of Us, please include any information on the milestones or important events you wish to be illustrated.
3) Everything is hand-drawn. The turn-around time is usually 3-5 days (but might be longer during peak season). We will then send the art preview to your email, for approval or requested revision. Your satisfaction is our top priority, so we will ensure you are happy with the result before it is finalized. All changes and revisions are free of charge.
4) Once you are happy, for digital copy, we will send the high resolution 300 dpi digital file to your email. This can be printed on matte, glossy or textured paper at any photo or printing store. If you have ordered a printed copy, this will be professionally printed in a museum grade archival paper, in A4 (or 8x12") or A3 (or 12x16") size. We are happy to also alter this size to your preference (e.g. 8"x10", 9x11" etc)
5) You may also purchase add-on frame from our product page (optional)
6) Your beautiful one-of-a-kind artpiece will be shipped directly to your doorstep!

What information to include for "Story of Us"?
Please share with us the information about the couple/family/person (first date, places they went to, year of milestones/events etc, or the activities and adventures they have had), or any exact text you would like to include.
Examples may look like this: We met in Liverpool, 2017; John loves cycling and Anna loves baking; We went to Tokyo in 2018, and Barcelona in 2019. We move in together in 2020 and got engaged in 2021 etc.
The title can be something like: Names + "Story of Us", " One year of adventure", "10 years together forever", "Our story since 2020" etc.
These are all optional, you may include as much or as little as you like, and we can also do illustrations without text or minimal text. Everything is created and customised for you and your loved ones.
What is the difference between signature, faceless and line art custom portraits?
Signature style portrait is the classic style which includes full outline, facial features and colour.
Line art style focuses on outline, and subtle hint of background colour
Faceless style showcase the coloured silhouettes without outline, and no facial features (but can be added if you wish)
What is the difference between digital copy and printed copy?
Digital copy means you will receive high quality, high resolution 300 dpi digital file of your illustration which you can then print yourself in any printing shop. This can be printed on any paper, canvas, t-shirt, wedding stationaries, greeting cards, or used in your social media etc.
With printed copy, you will receive a physical print to your doorstep. Please select the preferred size with your order.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once we receive your reference photo, we will create your personalised illustration within 3-5 days for you to review. Once you have approved this, it will be sent instantly to your email. Any revision is free but may take 1-2 days depending on the complexity of changes.
For physical print, delivery time may vary but usually takes around 3-4 days for UK and US, and might be up to 2 weeks for other countries. We aim to print locally or in a printing studio closer to you to minimize the postal waiting time.
Can I get a refund?
Each artwork is customised to you and takes hours to create. So unfortunately we are unable to offer refund, but we offer unlimited revision to ensure that you are happy with the final version.
In case of damaged print or frame, please message us at (info@whiteovalstudio.com) within 3 days of receiving it, along with photo proof so we can investigate and send a replacement.
